Unfiltrd Project #108 – Celebrating Sisters. Blackberry Pale Ale. 6% 30 IBU
Max 4 per order
We’re extremely honoured to have partnered with the “Indigenous Brew Crew” and “Do Better. Be Better.” to support Celebrating Sisters, a brew campaign to call attention to the amazing work that Indigenous women do in communities across the country.
As part of the campaign, Indigenous artist Chief Lady Bird has donated this amazing label art. We are excited to have this opportunity to display such an inspiring artist alongside our label and on our product. Indigenous Brew has spoken with women in various Indigenous communities to design a respectful campaign.
Not everyone has been supportive of this campaign, and the reluctance is understandable. But please, give everyone here that has helped, that has stuck their neck out to help – a follow and listen to what they have to say. We’ve always been about beer being a social activity, bringing people together – and that’s how the Indigenous Brew Crew sees this activity as well. Use what they do – to do good! It’s time to change to narrative.
50cents from every can will be supporting “Families of Sisters in Spirit”, based in Maniwaki, is an all-volunteer, grassroots, unfunded group of families of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people and ally-friends.
The beer, is an incredibly tasty blackberry pale ale and was a collab with an old friend from up north, Leanne Champagne who also does some wonderful work in this area, and many others! Hope you enjoy.
Keep refrigerated. Drink FRESH!
